SALT LAKE CITY — Michigan's sophomore point guard Trey Burke is officially the best player in NCAA Division I basketball for the 2013 season.

The point guard, who has led the Wolverines to the Final Four for the first time since the Fab Five were setting the standard for college hoops, has been awarded the John R. Wooden award and named the AP Player of the Year.

Burke finished ahead of fellow Big 10 guard Victor Oladipo, with Creighton's Doug McDermott, Georgetown's Otto Porter, and Gonzaga's Kelly Olynyk rounding out the top five.

Burke joins a group of highly successful collegiate players, such as Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan, Danny Manning, Michael Jordan, and Larry Bird, as players who have taken home the Wooden Award.

Burke has yet to officially declare for the NBA draft. He has until April 16, according to NCAA rules, to withdraw his name in order to maintain college eligibility.

Cliff diving in Hawaii

These guys have all the fun.

Devin Graham and his friends have one of the most playful YouTube channels on the site. Whether they're rope swinging in Zions, paintballing from air machines, or jump diving in Hawaii, their videos are a commercial for adrenaline rushes.

In this video, the group heads off to the cliffs of Hawaii to jump off cliffs into jungle pools, ocean shores and inland lakes.

JaVale McGee gets own reality show

While the Denver Nuggets will have to recover from Danilo Gallinari's knee injury, suffered Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks, one Nuggets player will be getting screen time after the season is over.

That's right, the conundrum that is JaVale McGee will be on a reality television series on OWN — the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Finally!

The show is called Millionaire Mama's Boy, and according to the official announcement, it will "Explore the dynamic relationship between former WNBA basketball star Pamela McGee and her 25-year-old son, Nuggets center, JaVale McGee.

"Ultimately, it's a show about family, love and the unbreakable bond between a mother and her son; all seven feet of him."

The fact that the show is unscripted means that things are just going to be unpredictable — kind of like McGee on the court.
