Summer and barbecue go hand in hand. And we're cooking up some delicious ribs and other treats to try the next time you grill.

Whiskey & Black Pepper Dry Rubbed Ribs with Spicy Whiskey Chipotle Glaze

A glaze for anything you grill is something that you add in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Usually containing some kind of sweetness, the glaze adds concentrated flavor as the heat caramelizes the sauce on the meat. It's a great way to add bold flavors to contrast or complement your BBQ.

What you will need:

• Kroger Whiskey Black Pepper Dry Rubbed Ribs - Great with or without an additional Glaze! You can also use Kroger Moist & Tender Ribs if you plan to use a glaze (recipe below) or add your own choice of sauce.

Whiskey Chipotle Glaze ingredients (Optional): • ½ cup Kroger Sriracha Ketchup • ½ cup Kroger Honey • ¼ tsp Kroger Dry Mustard • ¼ cup Whiskey • ¼ tsp Kroger chili powder • ¼ tsp Kroger Chipotle chili powder

Directions:

• Whiskey Chipotle Glaze: In a small sauce pan, add ketchup, honey, and rest of the glaze ingredients. Simmer for 5-10 minutes to bring out the flavors. • Remove Kroger Whiskey Black Pepper Dry Rubbed Ribs from package and grill/prepare according to package instructions. Using a glaze brush, add the Whiskey Chipotle Glaze in the last 5 minutes of grilling for an additional boost of spicy flavor.

Other varieties of pre-seasoned, ready-to-grill Kroger Dry Rubbed Ribs available to try: • Cherrywood & Chipotle Pepper Kroger Dry Rubbed Ribs • Kansas City Style BBQ Dry Rubbed Ribs • Applewood Seasoned Dry Rubbed Ribs • Smokey Chipotle Dry Rubbed Ribs
