Canadiens sign Daniel Carr, Connor Crisp

MONTREAL (AP) — The Montreal Canadiens signed Union College scoring leader Daniel Carr and Ontario Hockey League forward Connor Crisp to entry-level contracts Thursday.

Carr, from Sherwood Park, Alberta, signed a two-year deal. He helped Union win the NCAA titles, scoring 22 goals and adding 28 assists as a season for the Dutchmen.

Crisp signed a three-year deal after completing his fourth OHL season with the Sudbury Wolves and joining the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs for the end of their season. In 67 regular-season games with Sudbury, Crisp had 28 goals and 27 assists.
