NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have placed center Brian Schwenke on injured reserve and agreed to terms with offensive lineman Joe Looney.

The Titans announced the roster moves Tuesday.

Schwenke dislocated his left ankle in Sunday's 38-10 loss to Miami and had to be carted off the field. He was replaced by rookie Andy Gallik for the rest of the game.

Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday they would look at other options. The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Looney has started four of 19 games played with San Francisco after being drafted in the fourth round out of Wake Forest. Looney played in 15 games last season and started one game at center, one at left guard and two at right guard.
