METAIRIE, La. (AP) — Saints general manager Mickey Loomis says New Orleans has matched the offer that restricted free agent tight end Josh Hill had signed with the Chicago Bears earlier this week.

The move keeps the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Hill in New Orleans, where he also has been among the club's top special teams players.

Hill, who joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2013, played in 16 games last season, catching 16 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

Loomis says the Saints also have signed fifth-year linebacker Craig Robertson to a three-year contract.

The 6-foot-1, 234-pound Robertson played in 12 games for Cleveland last season, starting nine. He was in on 50 tackles to go with an interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery. Robertson also plays on special teams.
