ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — Free agent linebacker Daren Bates has signed with the Oakland Raiders after playing his first three seasons with the Rams mostly on special teams.
The team announced the move Monday.
Bates had 10 tackles last season and one pass defensed. He also had 10 special teams tackles in 15 games.
An undrafted free agent in 2013, Bates has played in 44 games and has made 24 special teams tackles and two fumble recoveries. He blocked a field goal and scored a special teams touchdown on a fumble recovery.
