DENVER (AP) - Peyton Manning broke the NFL record with his 24th career game with at least four touchdown throws Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Denver Broncos quarterback eclipsed Brett Favre's mark with his fourth TD pass late in the third quarter, a short toss to his newest target Wes Welker. Manning hooked up with Welker for a score earlier in the game and also had two TD passes to Demaryius Thomas.
Manning now has 16 touchdowns and no interceptions, tying the start of Cleveland's Milt Plum during the 1960 season. Manning has 327 yards passing through three quarters.
