MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Former Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball is in more legal trouble.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1R6EJgb) that Dane County prosecutors charged Ball on Thursday with strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct.
According to a complaint, one of Ball's former girlfriends alleges Ball hit her with his phone during a June 2014 argument in a Madison hotel. She said he grabbed her by the throat and threw her out of the room. The woman added Ball grabbed her neck and pushed her down a week earlier.
Ball's attorney denies the allegations.
Ball, a former Wisconsin player, already faces two misdemeanor counts in connection with another domestic abuse incident involving a different woman last month. She alleges Ball threw her into a table.
