AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — The third round of the Masters is being played in windy conditions with gusts approaching 30 miles per hour. The leader, Jordan Spieth (speeth), and Rory McIlroy (MAK'-ihl-roy) are teeing it up late afternoon. So far scores have been higher than normal because of the wind.

WASHINGTON (AP) — This afternoon's Miami at Washington game has been postponed because of cold weather. The forecast calls for temperatures in the 20's. A makeup date of May 14th has been announced as part of a split doubleheader.

UNDATED (AP) — Golden State's Warriors have three games left in the regular season. They enter tonight's contest with Memphis 70-9. They need to win all three games to break Chicago's all-time single-season won-loss record of 72-10.

UNDATED (AP) — The NHL's regular season comes to a close tomorrow night with two games. As of this afternoon two divisions remain up for grabs, the Central and the Pacific. In the Central the Stars and Blues are tied for first with 107 points while in the Pacific the Kings lead the Ducks by two.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — This week's Sprint Cup race is taking place this evening at the Texas Motor Speedway. Carl Edwards earned the pole yesterday and has had great success at the Fort Worth track as he is a three-time winner on it. Joey Logano will start from the outside of the first row with Martin Truex Jr. and Chase Elliott making up the second row.
