SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse and South Florida have renewed an old Big East rivalry, agreeing to play a home-and-home series beginning next year.

The Orange will visit Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Oct. 10, 2015. The Bulls will travel north the following season on Sept. 17, 2016.

Syracuse Director of Athletics Daryl Gross says the series gives the Orange important exposure in Florida and renews a budding rivalry the team had before joining the ACC last year.

Syracuse won two of the last three games in the series, but USF leads the overall series 6-2.

Syracuse also has added LSU to the 2015 schedule, with the Tigers making a visit to the Carrier Dome in September. The game is the first regular-season contest between the teams.
