AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Jordan Spieth (SPEETH) is the leader of the Masters for the sixth consecutive round after a 2-over 74 today left him 4-under after 36 holes of the first major of the season. Spieth holds a one-shot lead over Rory McIlroy, who's 1-under 71 was one of the few sub-par rounds on a windy day at Augusta National.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Cubs say slugger Kyle Schwarber is out for the season after suffering torn knee ligaments. The left fielder collided with teammate Dexter Fowler while chasing a fly ball in Thursday's win over Arizona.

DENVER (AP) — Colorado rookie sensation Trevor Story homered again today, becoming the first major league player to connect in each of his first four games. Story has hit five home runs since making his debut on opening day. His latest shot was a two-run drive off San Diego right-hander Colin Rea in the fourth inning. The Padres are leading the Rockies 11-5.

CHICAGO (AP) — Danny Salazar pitched two-hit ball into the sixth inning, and the Cleveland Indians pounded the White Sox 7-1, spoiling Chicago's bone-chilling home opener. It was 39 degrees at first pitch and snow and rain fell during the day in the Windy City.

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa State point guard Monte Morris has announced that he is returning for his senior season. Morris set career highs with 13.9 points and four rebounds per game last season.
