FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Diego Fagundez scored in the 55th minute and the New England Revolution earned a 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Friday night.

Juan Agudelo and Scott Caldwell assisted on the goal and the Revolution (1-1-3) earned their first win of the season.

Felipe Martins was given a red card for the Red Bulls (1-3) in the 61st minute.

Bobby Shuttleworth made five saves for New England and Luis Robles made four saves for the Red Bulls.

"You just say, 'the game is still there," and to push them and they did," Red Bulls coach Jesse Marsch said. "It's obviously an incredibly frustrating moment, but we stuck with the game and we were a bit unlucky to not find a goal."
