PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Top seed North Carolina played like a No. 1 seed as it dismissed fifth seed Indiana 101-86 in an East regional semifinal. The Tar Heels advance to play sixth seed Notre Dame, which rallied with an 8-0 run at the finish to eliminate Wisconsin 61-56 behind Demetrius Jackson's 16 points and six assists.

CHICAGO (AP)— Midwest No. 1 seed Virginia, a defense-first team, resorted to some high-octane offense in overpowering Iowa State 84-71 to reach the Elite Eight for the first time since 1995. It will be an all-ACC Midwest regional final Sunday when Virginia plays Syracuse, which defeated Gonzaga 63-60 last night. The Orange lost 73-65 to Virginia in Charlottesville in January

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP)— Two teams will qualify for the Final Four in regional finals tonight. In the West, top seed Oregon takes on Oklahoma in a matchup of 1 and 2 seeds.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP)— Top overall seed Kansas plays No. 2 seed Villanova in the South regional final tonight for a trip to the Final Four. Kansas eliminated Maryland 79-63 while 'Nova shot 63 percent in its 92-69 rout of Miami on Thursday night.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP)— World Number 1 Jordan Spieth (SPEETH) plays Louis Oosthuizen (WUHST'-hy-zehn) in a round of 16 match at the Dell Match Play championship today. The winners of the morning matches will meet in the afternoon in another set of maches.
