MILWAUKEE (AP) — Marquette freshman Henry Ellenson has decided to enter the NBA draft and hire an agent, forgoing his remaining college eligibility.
Ellenson announced his decision on Tuesday on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The decision was expected, especially after the 6-foot-11 forward won Big East freshman of the year honors for scoring a team-high 17 points a game for the Golden Eagles. He set school records for scoring and rebounding for a freshman.
Ellenson on Instagram said that playing in the NBA has been a lifelong dream. A forward who can run the floor and hit jumpers, Ellenson could be a draft lottery pick.
