INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — By the end of the evening we will know which schools will be playing in the title game of the men's Final Four. The national semifinals of the NCAA Tournament are on tap this evening in Indianapolis with Michigan State playing Duke in the opener and Kentucky going against Wisconsin in the nightcap. The winners will square off Monday for the national championship.

UNDATED (AP) — There are three games being played on ice this afternoon. In the first contest of the day, Philadelphia is playing at Carolina while Columbus is playing host to Pittsburgh and Vancouver is skating in Winnipeg.

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) — The leader at the midway mark of the LPGA's ANA Inspiration tournament in Rancho Mirage, California, was Sei Young Kim. She starts third round play in front of Morgan Pressel by two strokes. World No. 1 Lydia Ko is seven shots off the lead.

HUMBLE, Texas (AP) — Third round play is today in the PGA's Houston Open. The man on top as the day gets going is Andrew Putnam by one-shot over Phil Mickelson and Austin Cook. Putnam is at 12 under par following yesterday's 7-under 65. Mickelson has gone 66-67 during his first two trips around the track.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — In case you missed it yesterday, The Associated Press named its winners of the coach and player of the year awards. From the coaching ranks, John Calipari of Kentucky got the nod while the top player was Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky. They will be squaring off later today in the second of the two national semifinals of the Final Four.
