BOUNTIFUL, Utah (AP) — Logan Owen edged a group of riders at the finish line to win Stage 3 of the Tour of Utah on Wednesday, while reigning USA road national champion Matthew Busche was injured a crash and forced to withdraw from the race.

Kiel Reijnen holds the overall lead with a time of 12 hours, 58 minutes, 59 seconds.

Busche was hurt when several riders went down during the 107.9-mile stage.

Owen won in 4 hours, 12 minutes, 40 seconds. Brent Bookwalter was second and Edwin Avila was third.

Stage 4 will begin and end at the site of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games biathlon and Nordic events on Thursday.
