NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Goaltender Frederik Andersen will start Game 3 for Anaheim with the Ducks trailing 0-2 in their opening series with the Nashville Predators.

Coach Bruce Boudreau said Tuesday after the Ducks' morning skate that the change isn't because of anything rookie John Gibson is doing in net. Boudreau says it's more of a change to hopefully get the Ducks playing better.

Gibson is 0-2 with a 3.08 goals-against average and .900 save percentage through the first two games.

Andersen played 43 games during the regular season, while Gibson appeared in 40 with Boudreau alternating back and forth between the goalies.

Center Shawn Horcoff also will make his playoff debut. Boudreau says he's trying to get more experience on the ice with Horcoff.
