LOS ANGELES (AP) — Infielder-outfielder Kike Hernandez of the Los Angeles Dodgers had arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder.

The team said the 30-minute procedure done Wednesday by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles was to clean up Hernandez's shoulder. He will begin physical therapy next week and is expected to be fully recovered before the start of spring training.

Hernandez is the third Dodgers player to have surgery since the season ended last month.

Catcher Yasmani Grandal had surgery on his left shoulder AC joint and infielder Justin Turner had left knee surgery. Both are expected to be ready by next spring.
