WASHINGTON (AP) — Stephen (STEH'-fehn) Curry poured in 32 points in less than 34 minutes as the Warriors downed the Wizards 114-107 in Washington. He hit 11 of his 18 shots, including 5 of 9 from 3-point range. Klay Thompson finished with 17 points and Marreese Speights added 16 off the bench as the Western Conference leaders improved to 44-10 with their fifth victory in six games.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers won for the 17th time in 19 games as Kevin Love nailed eight 3-pointers and delivered 24 points in a 102-93 triumph at Detroit. LeBron James added 19 points and 11 assists, while Kyrie Irving chipped in 18 points. James broke Scottie Pippen's NBA record for career assists by a forward.

UNDATED (AP) — A pair of top-10 men's basketball teams went down to defeat on Tuesday. No. 5 Wisconsin fell on the road as Dez Wells scored 26 points to lead 14th-ranked Maryland past the Badgers 58-53. Ninth-ranked Notre Dame dropped to third in the ACC standings as B.J. Johnson scored 19 points and Rakeem Christmas added 14 to carry Syracuse past the Fighting Irish 65-60 at South Bend.

UNDATED (AP) — The NHL's conference leaders won by identical scores on Tuesday. Alex Galchenyuk (gahl-CHEHN'-yuk) and Brendan Gallagher each scored twice and Carey Price earned his team-record ninth straight road win as the Montreal Canadiens knocked off St. Louis 5-2. Nashville topped Colorado 5-2 as Pekka Rinne (PEH'-kah REE'-nay) made 18 saves in his NHL-best 35th win.

UNDATED (AP) — The New York Islanders still own a two-point lead over the New York Rangers in the NHL's Metropolitan Division after both teams earned home wins. The Isles ended a two-game skid by scoring four unanswered goals in a 5:52 span of the third period to beat Arizona 5-1. The Rangers are 7-0-1 in their last eight games after Cam Talbot turned back 21 shots in a 1-0 shutout of Calgary.
