ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Jordan Swopshire scored 10 of his career-high 20 points in the second half, and Colgate led nearly the entire way and held on to beat Navy 58-55 on Saturday to snap a three-game skid.

Swopshire made five 3-pointers, was 7 of 11 from the floor and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. Austin Tillotson added 13 points for Colgate (11-12, 7-5 Patriot League).

Jace Hogan and Tilman Dunbar had 13 points apiece to lead Navy (16-9, 7-5), which has lost four of its last five games.

Hogan scored nine straight points, and Dunbar added three as part of a 12-6 spurt to pull Navy to 56-55 with seven seconds left. Colgate's Sean O'Brien made a pair of free throws, and then blocked Dunbar's 3-point attempt to seal it.

Navy opened the second half on an 11-2 spurt to take its only lead, 29-28 with 17 minutes left, and finished just 1 of 14 from the arc.
