CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Justin Tuoyo had 18 points, nine rebounds and four blocks to help Chattanooga to an 81-72 victory over UNC Greensboro on Saturday night.
Tuoyo shot 4 of 6 from the floor and made 10 of 15 free throws. Greg Pryor added 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 3 of 6 from long range. Martynas Bareika had 14 points and Eric Robertson chipped in 13 for Chattanooga (14-7, 7-1 Southern Conference), which has won a season-high five straight games.
Chattanooga had a one-point edge before Pryor hit a 3, sparking an 11-4 surge to stretch the Mocs' lead to 68-60 with 6:55 remaining. UNC Greensboro pulled within 70-67 with 4:03 left but would not get closer.
Tevon Saddler scored 22 points to lead UNC Greensboro (6-15, 2-6). Diante Baldwin had 12 points with seven assists, Kayel Locke scored 12 and Marvin Smith added 10 points with nine rebounds for the Spartans.
