COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — J.T. Barrett threw for four first-half touchdown to lead Ohio State to a 58-0 trouncing of Rutgers. The second-ranked Buckeyes rolled up 410 rushing yards and 669 total yards while holding the Scarlett Knights to just 107 yards total offense.

ATLANTA (AP) — Shaquille Quarterman and Joe Jackson each returned fumbles by Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas for touchdowns in a span of less than 1 minute to lead No. 14 Miami to a 35-21 win. The Hurricanes improved to 4-0 and won the Atlantic Coast Conference debut of coach Mark Richt.

CHASKA, Minn. (AP) — The United States is nursing a one-point lead over Europe during the afternoon fourball matches at the Ryder Cup. The Europeans cut the gap with two wins and a halve in the morning foursome matches.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Texas running back Chris Warren III is out of the second half of today's game against Oklahoma State with a knee injury. Warren ran for 106 yards on 10 carries in the first half for the 22nd-ranked Longhorns.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Vikings left guard Alex Boone is on track to play on Monday night against the Giants despite a hip injury that forced him from the previous game. Boone didn't practice Thursday but returned on a limited basis yesterday and fully participated today, leaving coach Coach Mike Zimmer to assume Boone will play.
