SHEFFIELD, England (AP) — Kell Brook kept his IBF welterweight title and remained unbeaten by stopping Canadian challenger Kevin Bizier in the second round on Saturday.

Brook (36-0, 25 KO) started his first fight in 10 months with a barrage that bloodied the overmatched Bizier (25-3), then knocked him down twice in the second round, which was stopped 45 seconds from the end.

Brook completed a third successful title defense to the joy of his hometown supporters in Sheffield, while Bizier lost inside the distance for the first time.
