LONDON (AP) — British Cycling says an unnamed rider has tested positive in a race.
The organization released a statement late Thursday without elaborating any further.
It said the International Cycling Union was handling the case.
British Cycling was already dealing with bad news this week, after technical director Shane Sutton, involved with the highly successful British squad for 14 years, resigned after alleged discriminatory remarks to riders. He denies wrongdoing and awaits a hearing.
