COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Michael Bothwell has been named the most outstanding player of The Associated Press Division IV basketball all-tournament team after leading Ohio's Willoughby Cornerstone Christian Academy to its first state title.
The sophomore guard scored 14 points and had six assists in a championship game victory over Van Wert Lincolnview on Saturday. He tallied 30 points and 10 rebounds in a semifinal victory over Jackson Center a day earlier.
Joining him on the all-tournament team is CCA forward Brandon McQueen, who totaled 33 points in two tournament games.
Also making the squad are Lincolnview guard Trevor Neate, Jackson Center forward Brady Wildermuth and Columbus Wellington forward Dustin Harder.
