CINCINNATI (AP) — The Bengals have signed free agent linebacker Karlos Dansby. He's moving to Cincinnati from the Browns, for whom he had a team-high three interceptions last season.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Rockies manager Walt Weiss says reliever Jason Motte has a shoulder strain and that the pitcher may miss the season-opening series with Arizona. Motte was signed by the Rockies to a two-year, $10 million contract in the off season. He was competing with newly acquired Jake McGee for the closer's job.

TORONTO (AP) — NBA division leaders Toronto and Atlanta are meeting tonight on the Raptors' court. Each team has already clinched a playoff berth and the Raptors are looking to overtake Cleveland as the top seed in the Eastern Conference. After blowing a 20-point lead at home last night to Houston the Cavaliers are two games up on the Raptors.

UNDATED (AP) — Anaheim's Ducks can take over first place in the NHL's Pacific Division tonight. Anaheim enters this evening's game with Calgary one point back of the idle Los Angeles Kings.

NEW YORK (AP) — Columbia University is looking for a new men's basketball coach. That's because Kyle Smith has resigned to take the same job at the University of San Francisco. He is replacing the fired Rex Walters as the Dons' new coach.
