ST. LOUIS (AP) — Bronson Koenig has made a memory of a lifetime. The Wisconsin guard came off a last-second screen and buried a game-winning 3-pointer from the corner to give the seventh-seeded Badgers a 66-63 win over Xavier to send them into the Sweet 16 against Notre Dame on Friday.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Alex Caruso scored 25 points as Texas A&M overcame a 10-point deficit with less than 30 seconds left in regulation to come back for a 92-88 double overtime victory over Northern Iowa to reach the Sweet 16 for the third time in school history, the first since 2007. Danuel House scored all 22 of his points in the second half and overtime for the Aggies.
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Dillon Brooks refused to let top-seed Oregon and the Pac-12 Conference be eliminated on the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. He scored 25 points and leading the Ducks to 69-64 win over No. 8 seed Saint Joseph's in the second round of the West Regional to send Oregon into the Sweet 16 against Duke.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP)— Buddy Hield (HEELD) scored 19 of his 36 points in the final eight minutes to help No. 2 seed Oklahoma hold off No. 10 seed VCU 85-81 to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second straight year. Hield didn't score for more than 10 minutes to start the game. But he made 9 of 12 shots in the second half to power the Sooners.
FONTANA, Calif. (AP) — Jimmie Johnson pulled away in overtime to beat Kevin Harvick for the Southern California native's record sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory at Fontana. It's the 77th career win for Johnson, who has won two races already this year.
