CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers say forward Nerlens Noel will not return to Saturday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets after suffering a cut to his right eyelid.
The injury came midway through the second quarter. The game was stopped after Noel emerged with a bloodied face after a 76ers layup.
Noel had two points and two rebounds in 10 minutes before leaving the game. Noel had six double-doubles in his last eight games.
