FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Marvelle Harris scored 22 points shooting 10 of 10 from the line, Cullen Russo added 17 points and Fresno State defeated Utah State 75-68 Saturday night.

Fresno State (18-9, 9-5 Mountain West) grabbed a share of second place in conference with New Mexico (16-11, 9-5), which lost to Air Force earlier in the day.

Cezar Guerrero hit a 3 for the Bulldogs with 5:04 left in the game for a 67-59 lead. But the Aggies got two free throws apiece from Julion Pearre and Darius Perkins, and Chris Smith's layup with 1:38 left cut the lead to 67-65.

Russo countered with a jumper and a layup, Harris made two free throws and the Aggies shot just 1 for 4 the rest of the way.

Jalen Moore and Shane Rector each scored 13 points for Utah State (13-12, 5-9).
