LOWELL, Mass. — Led by Earl Timberlake's 17 points, the Bryant Bulldogs defeated the UMass-Lowell River Hawks 79-78 on Thursday night. The Bulldogs moved to 18-11 with the win and the River Hawks dropped to 16-13.
