STATESBORO, Ga. — Led by Jalen Speer's 16 points, the Marshall Thundering Herd defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles 71-67 on Saturday. The Thundering Herd are now 13-9 with the victory and the Eagles dropped to 11-10.
