NEWARK, N.J. — Led by Al-Amir Dawes' 21 points, the Seton Hall Pirates defeated the St. John's Red Storm 80-65. Daniss Jenkins finished with 17 points and five assists for the Red Storm. Seton Hall took the lead with 4:21 remaining in the first half and never trailed again. Seton Hall extended the lead to 52-24 during the second half, fueled by a 14-0 scoring run.
