WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. — Abdi Bashir Jr. scored 29 points off of the bench to help lead the Monmouth Hawks over the Elon Phoenix 79-76 on Thursday night. The Hawks improved to 12-18 with the win and the Phoenix fell to 17-13.
