Utah State University is conducting research on Chukar habitat in northern Utah. The study looks at chukar numbers, how wildfires affect the birds, and how the population grows or decreases after wet or dry winters. In this episode, we tag along with two USU professors and a student on a chukar hunt to talk about their findings. Along for the hunt is Bret Wonnacott and his English Setters, Rox and Snaps, who help us shoot a limit of those red-legged devils.
