Last year the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife (SFW) raised nearly 10 million dollars for conservation at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. A lot of that money is from conservation tags that they auction off at the show, and also from the 200 $5 expo tags that thousands of hunters put in for. So we wanted to find out where that money is going. Where are these millions of conservation dollars hitting the ground, especially for Utahans? So we sat down with MDF President, Joel Pederson, to find out.
