Where the hell is Hanksville? That's a popular phrase seen on T-shirts in the small town of Hanksville Utah. But while the area is not as famous as Moab, it's slowly becoming a central gathering place for off-roaders and 4-wheelers. The surrounding landscape is full of out-of-this-world scenery, historic sites, and hundreds of miles of UTV trails to get you there. So we set out with Hanksville Tours to see some of those sites, which include alien landscapes, ghost towns, ancient Indian rock art, and more. Plus we show why you should also travel to Hanksville to experience Southern Utah without any crowds.
