PHOENIX (AP) — State officials are setting up a site in Tucson to serve as a disaster recovery location for the Department of Health Services.
The work includes installing and testing equipment and processes in the recovery location in Tucson to operate vital records and medical marijuana systems from the alternate site instead of the department's headquarters in Phoenix.
The department plans to synchronize databases in both cities so the systems can be run in either city if there's a problem.
