LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas Police say the suspect in a string of armed casino robberies who an officer fatally shot Sunday morning was 31-year-old Anthony Wade Moore.

Police released video Wednesday that showed the encounter inside the off-Strip Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

The silent video footage shows a struggle as the two detectives use a Taser on Moore who falls to the ground and reaches into a bag for a gun.

Undersheriff Kevin McMahill says Moore fired one shot after being tased.

The video shows one officer climb onto Moore before the footage ends.

McMahill says Officer Sean Beck shot Wade in the back of the neck.

He says Wade robbed Palace Station, Palms, Sunset Station and attempted to rob MGM Grand in Las Vegas in the last several weeks.
