SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Officials in Montgomery County are opening a new library in Silver Spring this weekend.

The county says the library will have a grand opening ceremony Saturday. The new library will take up about 63,000 square feet of space on the third, fourth and fifth levels of a five-story building at Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street. It replaces a previous library that was on Colesville Road.

The library will have some 90,000 books, a digital media lab, a coffee bar and a cafe.
