KELSO, Wash. (AP) — Kelso police say a man has turned himself in in Salt Lake City for a cold case homicide from 1994. Brandon Wright is expected to be extradited to Washington state to face murder charges.

He was arrested in Utah in connection with the killing of Robert Bushey.

KOIN-TV reports (http://is.gd/lB8kIU ) Bushey was living in a camper on the south side of Kelso when he was stabbed to death. His body was found by friends and neighbors on Aug. 31, 1994.

Police spokesman Darr Kirk says Wright was not a suspect in 1994 and was never interviewed during the initial investigation. Detectives have found no connect between the two men.
