HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama A&M University has fired a tenured professor after the school discovered videos of him participating in sexual activity with two students on campus.
Media outlets report the school fired Edward Jones, who worked more than 20 years at Alabama A&M.
According to court documents filed in federal court by Alabama A&M, videos of Jones were discovered on a school laptop that recorded the professor in three sex acts, two of which were with male students.
The school says all three instances occurred on the Alabama A&M campus.
Jones had been placed on administrative leave from his duties in October due to concerns raised by the Alabama Department of Education.
After the pornographic photos were found, an intent to terminate Jones' employment was filed Jan. 14.
Jones' attorney, Lee Loder, declined to comment.
