AUSTRALIA — Family fishing trips can get downright scary in Australia. Case in point is the story of Brad and Emma, who live near Galiwinku, Northern Territory. You can see part of the action in the this video.

Can you believe how fast that croc moved in the water? It definitely wasn't out for a leisurely stroll.

The full story, as described in the video caption, includes a man and his pregnant wife and his 8-year-old daughter. They were fishing in remote Arnhem Land waters of the Northern Territory, "when a croc snuck up beside the boat and then rammed the boat" as the man reeled in a barramundi. It appears the croc didn't want them to leave, but after the man hit it with his rod, the family made a quick getaway.

Yikes! It would be scary enough to have a crocodile ram your boat. But to then have the creature put its head into your boat? For parents with a young daughter on board, that must've been terrifying.

So if you're planning a family fishing trip in Australia any time soon, do yourself a favor and check to make sure you're not entering croc-infested waters.
