SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah offensive tackle Zane Beadles picked up his fifth All-America honor Wedndesday, when he was announced as a first-team Phil Steele All-American.
Other All-America honors for Beadles are first-team Football Writers Association of America, second-team Walter Camp, second-team SI.com and third-team Sporting News.
Beadles is a four-year starter for the Utes and a three-time all-Mountain West Conference selection, earning first-team honors in 2008 and 2009. He has 24 cuts and 13 pancake blocks this season, winning 675 of his 770 total plays for a team-best 88% overall grade.
The mechanical engineering major, who is scheduled to graduate in December, also earned second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors. He was a finalist for the Lowe's Senior Class Award and Wuerffel Trophy.
