The Salt Lake Chamber supports our partner chambers of commerce as we work to strengthen our state economy. September 17th, ChamberWest, , the chamber of commerce for west valley city, taylorsville and kearns, will honor eleven businesses and individuals for their service in the community at the 2009 Community Awards Gala at the Salt Lake Community College Oak Room in Taylorsville.

September 24th, ChamberWest will kick-off its LeadershipWest training series with an all-day retreat. LeadershipWest is the chamber's leadership education program that provides training in current trends in corporate leadership. And small business scholarships are available.

The new intermodal hub behind West Valley City Hall will open soon. In early 2011, Valley Fair Mall will be the only mall outside Salt Lake City with across-the-street access to TRAX.
