Thank you for including a discussion ofthe New Century Scholarship on your program. We have two boys planning to use the scholarship this year. One is being penalized for going on a mission because of the cuts. My other boy is planning on a mission in a year when he's nineteen. If the funding is restored, will he still be able to defer his scholarship for two years? There are a lot of kids in the same boat. You might want to consider talking about this on your show the next time you talk about the New Century Scholarship. My husband just got off the phone with our state senator, Allen Christensen, and I can't believe it, but he's against raising the funding back to 75%. Maybe you should call and talk to him. Our other representative, Mel Brown, said he has received 75 emails in the last two days, and he is very supportive of finding the money needed. I enjoy listening to your show.
