LONDON, Dec 21, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Monica Lewinsky has earned a master's of science degree from the London School of Economics, People magazine reported Thursday.

Lewinsky, 32, is best remembered for her White House intern affair with former U.S. President Bill Clinton during his second term in office.

Her degree is in the field of social psychology and her thesis was titled "In Search of the Impartial Juror." When she crossed the stage to receive her degree, an audience of students and parents greeted her with an enthusiastic round of applause, in an "emotional moment" for Lewinsky.

Lewinsky spent the last year studying and staying away from the London social scene, and is currently interviewing for jobs in Britain, People reported.
