LOS ANGELES, Dec 14, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Actor Ryan O'Neal says U.S. actress Farrah Fawcett, is recovering well from her recent chemotherapy treatment.
The 65-year-old "Peyton Place" star talked about the health of the "Charlie's Angels" star in Los Angeles, telling "Extra" his former girlfriend is in good spirits.
O'Neal -- who was seen out with Fawcett shopping for jewelry -- angrily refuted a recent tabloid headline that read "Farrah Wants to Die."
"It's bull****, you tell them that!" O'Neal said. "She's doing great. Not perfect ... but great."
The owner of the jewelry store where O'Neal and Fawcett shopped said he thought the celebrity couple may have been in the market for a wedding ring.
"There felt like some indication that that's a possibility," store owner Alan Friedman told "Extra."
