The "Phil Meador Toyota Rocky Mountain Rumble" returns to Pocatello this fall with four of the best high school football teams from the state of Idaho taking on four of Utah's best. The event will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2009. All games will be played inside the historic Holt Arena on the campus of Idaho State University.

The Rocky Mountain Rumble started last year as a showcase for Idaho high school football programs to play teams from outside the state. Last year, four of Idaho's best (Minico, Lake City, Idaho Falls and Highland) welcomed four of California's best (Colfax, Del Oro, Whitney and Grant Union). Idaho teams (Minico and Lake City) won two of those contests. The event also featured two eventual state champions (Highland and Grant Union). Thanks to a national television audience, the event received a great deal of national attention and both Grant Union and Highland ended the year with national rankings. More than 10,000 spectators were in attendance.

This year, four of Utah's best will come to Pocatello. The game schedule is as follows:

Game #1 11:00am Sky View Bobcats (UT) vs. Lake City Timberwolves (ID) Game #2 2:00pm Bear River Bears (UT) vs. Minico Spartans (ID) Game #3 5:00pm Mountain Crest Mustangs (UT) vs. Pocatello Indians (ID) Game #4 8:00pm Highland Rams (UT) vs. Highland Rams (ID)

Tickets for the event will be sold at the door and are $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12. A limited number of tickets will also be sold in advance at each of the participating schools. One ticket will admit the spectator to all four games.

The Rocky Mountain Rumble is also pleased to announce that all games will again be televised "live" nationwide on the Altitude Sports Network. In addition to many cable providers, Altitude is available on DishTV (channel 410) and DirectTV (channel 681). Phil Meador Toyota of Pocatello will continue its partnership with the Rumble as the title sponsor.
