This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

For thousands of years man has been decorating walls with images, from the earliest pictures drawn on cave walls to the building-size banners decorating skyscrapers today. Graphics are an efficient way for companies to communicate messages and get their brand out to the public. In our digital world, it's easier now, more than ever, to communicate messages through graphics.

Today digitally-printed graphics are everywhere: they greet guests at museums, airports and movie theaters; they adorn stages, stadiums and convention halls; they wrap buildings, fences and vehicles. And Vision International, a Salt Lake City-based company, provides all types of large format graphics.

Tim Fullmer, company president, says Vision International specializes in custom-designed, large-format graphics, although smaller graphics are also available. The company has developed a unique design-to-installation concept in which clients tell a Vision representative about their event and the company custom designs graphics. The process has helped the company become a comprehensive graphic provider for events.

Locally, you might be familiar with Vision International's graphics at the Energy Solutions Arena. The company has produced everything from the larger-than-life images of players that adorn the building to the banners that greet spectators entering the venue. However, Vision International is also known for providing graphics for the Super Bowl and other major sports team arenas. The company is in the process of incorporating graphics into the architecture of a new stadium being built in Texas.

Printing has been a lifelong passion for Tim. He entered the industry at age 14 and has always loved it. He launched Vision International in 1993 and has enjoyed seeing it adjust as the industry advanced. Tim hopes to continue creating a world where people incorporate more of their own branding identity into the landscape of their business.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
