Press ReleaseLISBON, Portugal -- Jonathan Tavernari hit the game-winning shot to lead the Brazilian Senior National Team to an 89-86 victory over Angola on Friday. The game was the first of three exhibitions the team will play in preparation for the Lusofonia Games to be played from July 14 to 19.

Tavernari tallied a team-high 25 points and broke an 86-all tie with a three. Angola led Brazil 46-39 at the half. Brazil will take on Finland on Saturday, July 11, and Portugal on Sunday, July 12.
